Telur&nbsp; sudah menjadi makanan yang sering dikomsumsi karena paling gampang ditemukan disekitar kita. Telur adalah sumber protein yang relatif murah. Selain itu, telur mengandung choline, zat yang diperlukan oleh tubuh supaya tetap sehat terutama untuk perkembangan otak dan memori. Dengan sarapan telur rebus atau poach sebelum anak berangkat sekolah bermanfaat bagi energi dan kecerdasan. Janin juga memiliki IQ lebih tinggi bila calon ibu secara rutin mengasup dua butir telur setiap hari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Telur juga mengandung berbagai nutrisi penting, seperti : protein, vitamin A, D, E, dan B, fosfor dan zinc. Berkadar lemak dan kalori rendah. Satu butir telur hanya mengandung 71 cal. Inilah yang membuat telur sangat disarankan saat seseorang menjalani diet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Putih telur memiliki peran yang sangat penting mencegah penyebaran bakteri. Menurut penelitian oleh peneliti di Jepang, adalah zat peptide (yang ada ditelur) yang mengikat bakteri E Coli dan mencegah untuk bisa menyebar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Telur meningkatkan kadar kolesterol darah tidaklah benar. Telur hanya mengandung 5 gram lemak dan hanya terdiri dari lemak jenuh. Tanpa mengandung lemak tak jenuh, yang memicu kenaikan kolesterol. Telur diklaim bukan sebagai penyebab utama peningkatan kadar kolesterol dalam darah. Telur yang diklaim rendah kolesterol justru kaya vitamin D yang berperan dalam pembentukan tulang.
